Let BUDDHA win YAMA

That moment, Rap battle was set upon between Yama and buddha. They did their best and finally Yama defeated Buddha. and the result was a big shock for all of us. He himself never knew that he won't be able to balance these two words of his name. "Jitnu vanda thulo kuro himmat na harnu ho" .This line of his inspired many but couldn't inspire himself. This legend contributed a lot for Nepali Rap , ended up with his contribution to maintain position of Nepal at 7th rank in "countries having highest suicide rate". We would have been more proud of you brother if you had decided to contribute with your life rather than your death. And the tragedy is, we are busy honoring him after death. Yes of course, its a tradition in Nepal worth preserving. It would be a sin to disrespect him now but our focus must shift from "is he not worth honoring? to "why the hell he didn't find his life worth living?" I m not against his stardom but I can't stand the wrong message his death has left.

Suicide has came forth as a 3rd leading cause of death across the world. There are 1 million suicides every year which is more than those murdered and killed in a war. And this could rise to 1.5 million by 2020 . It conveys that within every 40 second, One life is taking off by means of suicide. Is not this a jaw dropping fact? Whats wrong with our generation? Why people are choosing to switch off pressing suicide button rather than enjoying vast multifaceted features provided by life?  And whats wrong with these celebrities whose life are full of flying colors? The question remains "Should we continue to witness such bigger tragedies ? Is there anything that we can do more than typing in the comment box '"REST IN PEACE"???

There comes a time in everyone's life when life seems hard, life seems biased. We feel like we are being cheated. We feel like I am the one with no luck at all. Our problem seems bigger than anything else in the world. There are depressions all around.. It haunts even more when we get stuck where we had done nothing bad but had to suffer like anything. This is the country where toils are not paid well, honesty never became the best policy and everything runs around politics, power and money. If you have none of these three, you ought to suffer even more. This is the reason why almost all of us choose to fly abroad and never come back .Here patriotism kneels down before prosperity and those who are supposed to stop these all, are busy in balancing those three factors all around them.

You may say, depression is in the air of Nepal. So what? Is SUICIDE the only solution you know?  Will everything be solved by it? Will your suicide bring happiness in lives of your loved ones? Will your parents be proud of your decision? Will you be remembered as a source of inspiration to your people around?  NO. Things will be more worse and you will be remembered as coward .No matters how you played entire match, people only remember did you score or not?

So Can "You" fix it? Can you do something for it?  YES. You can. You can do a lot the way you are . You can't get excuse saying you are a normal individual and you can play no role in bringing down suicide rate from million to zero .  But the fact is, these data are made of those victims which are not far from you  and you could be the one. Your near ones might be going through all sorts of depressions and suicidal thoughts. and you can play a major role to save them or to let them end their life. the choice is yours. You needn't to be a psychiatrist to uplift some one's spirit. You needn't to be a motivational speaker to inspire person next to you. You needn't have to write books on happiness and success to bring HOPE in someone life. What a person needs in time of crisis, can be a listening ear which can digest every rubbish that going on in his mind. We just need a company that can feel our pain and thus silence our mind. And No doubt!! You can be the one.

So Lets open up our eyes to see thousand of reasons to cherish life. Lets stop searching happiness in EDV. Lets stop confining our world in insta n fb. Lets stop putting value of our life in some one's love or hatred. Lets start appreciating the love that we have in abundance. Lets recognize what really matters in life. Lets take help when needed. Lets fight with depression together.Lets not afford to lose another legend again. Let BUDDHA win every battle with YAMA.

  2. Hmm.... Wanting little more of what we already have is human nature. Through our eyes he may have been living that life we fantasize about but at the end we dunt know how it feels being at his shoe. He definitely was an inspiration for many, even at this moment. But one negative momentum stole away everything... That's what happen to ho him... He must have struggled enough to finally decided to let himself go... Beside that even we struggle in our lives, may be some point or the other.. But we are fortunate enough to survive this...however, we never know when we if someday couldn't be our own hero the rest of the world will say: RIP (cause it has become a fashion). Until our time comes we can steal a beautiful memories for that last moment of ours...
